It's Cannes time! The 2019 Festival de Cannes runs from May 14 until May 25. It seems like, this year, more Bollywood divas made appearances at the 72nd year of the international film festival. Here are some Bollywood celebrities who graced the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival last week.
1. Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone wowed us as "Camp Barbie" at the recently held Met Gala 2019, and now she is walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. Being a regular attendee of Cannes Film festival, this year will be Deepika's first appearance post marriage with Ranveer Singh. The "Padmavat" star is expected to walk the red carpet to represent the cosmetic giant L'Oreal.
2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Former Miss World 1994, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is a regular attendee at Cannes. Aishwarya, who walked the Red Carpet with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan last year, leaves no stone unturned to stun people with her dresses. This year, she wore a metallic-inspired fabric mermaid gown.
3. Kangana Ranaut
Bollywood celebrity Kangana Ranaut is one of the most eligible bachelorettes in Bollywood and one of India's biggest fashion icons, so everyone awaited her appearance at the Cannes red carpet. The "Queen of Jhansi" star also made a second appearance at the French Riviera for the vodka brand Grey Goose.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja
Sonam Kapoor made Indians fall in love with her fashion and style. The "Veere Di Wedding" star, who attended Cannes 2018 just after her marriage, walked the red carpet again this year. She consistently slays with her choices, and she gave us not one -- but two incredible ensembles this season!
Mallika Sherawat
Apart from Aishwarya Rai and Deepika, another Bollywood diva who steals hearts every year on the Cannes Film Festival's red carpet is Mallika Sherawat. The "Murder" actress geared up for her stunning red carpet moment at Cannes 2019 by sharing a video from one of her fittings. Her off shoulder dress had blue and silver work with a long train. We loved seeing Mallika representing India in France.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
When stylist Mimi Cuttrell tagged Priyanka Chopra Jonas in her Instagram post saying "en route to Cannes, be right back," fans got a little curious. Our favorite Desi girl did not disappoint; She stunned at her Cannes Film Festival debut! Famous hubby, Nick Jonas, tagged along, but there's no dulling Priyanka's sparkle!
Hina Khan
Hina Khan, who has recently quit "Kasauti Zindagii Kay," where she played the role of Kommoloka, made her debut at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. Hina traveled to the French Riviera to reveal the first look of her film "Lines." She was seen strolling around Paris, the city of romance, with her partner Rocky Jaiswal.
Diana Penty
Diana Penty was finally able to make her debut at the Cannes in 2019. She will be attending the Festival de Cannes as a part of her association with the brand Grey Goose and is really excited for her first appearance there. She had previously been invited but was unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.
