The moment you decide to confess your love, you know that they are the one for you. They may not be the best, the luckiest, or the most efficient person in the world; but for you, they are perfect in every sense. When you are in love, the only thing that matters is how well a person can fit in your life. It's not about being the best couple in the world, it’s about bringing out the best in each other.
It’s said that nobody is perfect but when looking for a partner, we all want a perfect match! We have such high standards regarding their looks, behavior, and status that we want them to have every possible virtue. After a point, we start rejecting everyone without even giving them a chance. So, if you are building a relationship, be careful about its foundation. We live in a superficial world full of fantasies. Don’t let others’ perception affect your choices and decisions.
Finding the perfect partner
Finding a partner isn’t easy, especially when you believe in unrealistic standards set by the society. You simply need to listen to your heart and understand what you expect from your partner. - Don’t make any compromises: If you are particular about things that matter to you, never ever compromise. You don’t have to abandon your principles in the search of a perfect partner. Never forget that you deserve the best in life. Believe in yourself and make your own choices. Don’t let others tell you what’s right or wrong for you.
- Don’t try to change them: When you find someone you like, you may notice some differences between expectation and reality. Remember that things may not happen as per your plans. Be open-mined and have a conversation. Instead of trying to change the other person as per your standards, tell them about your expectations. If you can accept someone for who they are, you can lead a healthy relationship. But if it’s something you can’t come to terms with, resolve the issue by having a conversation.
