While dating, it is always difficult to tell if the guy you're seeing is really into you, or if he wants something more serious from you. Here is a guide to help you make that judgement call.
1. He will ask a ton of questions about your life
You notice he is showing a lot of interest in what you do with your life. That means asking a lot of questions and asking you to show him your hobbies or things you love. This includes things he may not really like as well.
2. He will take time out of his day to hang out with you only
If the guy you are seeing only invites you to gatherings with other people, and you are the one initiating the solo hang outs, then it might mean that he isn't that into you, and that you might just want to be friends. So, if he initiates alone time with you, then it could mean something more!
3. He will text you first and often
He won't be able to get enough of you! If he can't stop talking to you throughout the day, then you know he is definitely into you. It doesn't have to be a long conversation either, it could be just some short texts throughout the day to make sure you haven't forgotten about him. If you see him ghosting you, then you know its not worth your time.
4. He will try to make you laugh
A guy always wants to be perceived as funny by his partner. (It is in our DNA - we want people to think we are funny). So, if he is genuinely trying to make you laugh, then he absolutely wants something more to develop. He is not just looking to date around, and has interest in only you.
5. He keeps his promises
If he promised to take you out on a Friday night after knowing you had a long day, and he doesn't stand you up, then he is invested. He will make you a priority, but it isn't lip service. He will do whatever it takes to not disappoint you (and even if it's likely he will end up messing up, as everyone is prone to doing, he will do everything he can to make it up to you).
6. You haven't simply met his friends
You've also met his family, and, in a way, become friends with them as well. This means that he is invested in you being a a part of his life. When you are there with his friends and his family, they feel you are a part of his life and a part of theirs.
7. He wants to share his favorite things with you
When a guy likes someone, he wants to share his life with them. That means his favorite movies, books, TV shows, activities. EVERYTHING. When you start hearing a guy tell you about something he loves, and he wants to show you, then that's when you know he wants something more.
Look out for these cues and you'll be able to master the art of figuring out what is inside a guys head when dating.
